Your donation to the Neurological Council will go to the many worthwhile causes listed below:
information and counselling services for those newly diagnosed and living with a neurological condition;
a nurse service for people with neurological conditions living in the community in regional WA;
recreational and peer support for people with neurological conditions and their carers through our support group network;
networking and training opportunities for community neurological nurses in the sector;
advocacy for people with neurological conditions at an individual level and sector level;
awareness raising of neurological conditions, their prevalence and their impact on individuals and the community.
You can donate as an individual or an organisation. You can also make a one-off donation which may be associated with celebration or in memoriam giving. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a receipt which will be posted or emailed to you. You can donate online or via direct deposit (please call our office for details) or cheque. Please make cheques payable to “Neurological Council of WA”.
If you have any questions about making a donation, please call the Neurological Council on (08) 9346 7533.
Workplace giving is a convenient and effort free way to make a regular donation from your pay during each pay period. As the donation is deducted from your pre-tax salary, it allows for an immediate tax deduction without you having to claim it at the time of your annual tax return.
If you would like to participate in payroll giving, please contact the Neurological Council of WA on (08) 9346 7533.
You can donate by foregoing flowers, presents and other gifts which surround celebration and memoriam giving and asking your friends and family to donate to the Neurological Council of WA instead.
In return, the Council will acknowledge the donation by sending an NCWA birthday or condolence card to the person or family in whose honour the donation has been made. The amount of the donation will remain anonymous unless the donor requests otherwise.
The donor will also receive a Tax Deductible receipt from the NCWA in acknowledgement of the donation.
Please call the Neurological Council of WA on (08) 9346 7533 should you require further information.
After you have looked after your loved ones, leave a lasting legacy by making a bequest (a gift through a will) to the Neurological Council of WA to help us continue to do the important work we do within the neurological community.
