| The NCWA - Support Services | |||||||
Support ServicesThe NCWA has Home and Community Care (HACC) funded services in the Perth metropolitan region, the Southwest region, the Great Southern region and the Midwest region (see maps). The Council has plans to grow these services to cover much of the state. The services aim to provide support to people living with neurological conditions so that they can remain in their homes and in the community. Regional ServicesRegional services are supplied by Neurological Community Nurses who are located in the major centre of each region. These services are funded through the Commonwealth Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. The vision of the NCWA is to expand and grow these services throughout Western Australia to provide a network of clinical support, information, education and advocacy to people with neurological conditions. It is planned to compliment the neurological community nurse services with Allied Health Clinics and video-conferencing support. |
