Marianne Slattery

Marianne Slattery has worked in health care for over 48 years. She has a Bachelor of Nursing (Science) degree and qualifications in orthopaedic nursing, obstetrics, paediatrics and health service management.
With extensive clinical and administration experience, Marianne has worked in surgical, orthopaedic trauma and high dependency units. She has also held positions of charge nurse, clinical nurse specialist, after-hours care coordinator and coordinator of acute care services.
Marianne was Director of Nursing at St John of God, Bunbury before taking up appointment as the Regional Nurse Director for the West Australian Country Health Service (WACHS) – South West. She holds the palliative care portfolio for all WACHS regions that involves participation in State planning committees.
